Who we are

Multicom I.T Solutions Limited, registered in Ghana, at 817/6 North East Teshie, Century Road, Accra, Ghana. Reach us about anything on this page at info@multicomgh.com.

Our registration with Ghana's Data Protection Commission is in progress; this notice will carry the registration number as soon as it is issued.

This website

This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics and carries no advertising trackers, so visiting it tells us nothing about you.

The site assessment form stores nothing. When you press send, your details are handed to WhatsApp or your own email app, so you can see exactly what is sent before it goes.

Your IP address and browser reach our hosting provider as part of delivering the page, which is unavoidable and is not kept as a record of you.

If you contact us or become a customer

We keep your name, contact details and the conversation so we can answer properly and pick up where we left off. For customers we also hold the site information needed to deliver and support what you have bought, plus the accounting records Ghanaian law requires. Enquiries are deleted two years after your last contact.

Who you are dealing with

This site covers more than one company, and it matters which one holds your data.

• Multicom I.T Solutions Limited is the controller for the managed services (internet, cameras and video surveillance, signal, alarms, last-mile and property monitoring) and for general enquiries made through this site.
• MIOT MULTICOMIOT LIMITED, trading as MulticomIoT and under the MIOT mark on its hardware, was established in 2020 as a subsidiary of Multicom I.T Solutions Limited and is separately registered. Where you enquire about or contract for remote monitoring and control, MIOT MULTICOMIOT LIMITED is the controller of that data and your contract is with that company; it publishes its own material at multicomiot.com.
• Multicom Datum operates construction verification under its own privacy notice.

Monitoring and recorded footage

Where we install, host or maintain CCTV, alarms or connectivity for you, you are the owner of that footage and data and we process it on your instructions under our contract with you. Retention is set in your service schedule. Our staff access is limited to what support and maintenance require, and that access is logged.

Construction site recording is carried out by our Multicom Datum division under its own privacy notice.

Who else sees your data

We use service providers for hosting, email and messaging, contractually bound to protect your data and act only on our instructions. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever. Some providers operate outside Ghana; where your data is handled abroad we make sure it is protected to the standard required by the law of your own country.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent where we relied on it. Write to info@multicomgh.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to Ghana's Data Protection Commission.

Changes to this notice

If we change this notice we will post the new version here with the date it took effect.
