We install it. Then we are the ones who keep it running.
Multicom is a managed operations company based in Accra. We design, install and operate last-mile connectivity, IBS in-building systems, systems integration and software for government, business and estates across Ghana.
What Multicom actually is
A managed infrastructure operator in Accra, Ghana, trading since 2011. We design, install and then operate the systems businesses and government depend on.
We are not an equipment trader. What customers buy is a monitored service under a written commitment, with maintenance and reporting inside the contract.
The group, in four lines
- Parent
- Multicom I.T Solutions Limited · Accra · since 2011
- Subsidiary
- MIOT MULTICOMIOT LIMITED: MulticomIoT, est. 2020, remote monitoring and control. multicomiot.com
- Division
- Multicom Datum : construction verification
- Division
- MulticomKasa : websites and social presence for small businesses
Each runs on its own domain. Both divisions contract through Multicom I.T Solutions Limited.
Why we built the business this way
The common failure here is not bad equipment. It is good equipment installed by someone who then disappears: a camera goes offline in March, nobody notices until August.
The recurring fee means our revenue depends on systems staying up. Monitoring, maintenance and reporting are in the contract, not sold afterwards.
- Operating in Ghana since 2011
- NOC operations in Accra and Kumasi
- Vetted, trained field technicians
- Documented assessments, quotes and approvals
Field operations
Three principles that decide most of our day-to-day calls
Operate
Monitoring drives the work. A site under contract is checked continuously and problems are opened as tickets whether or not the customer has called.
Engage
Communication happens in the channel the customer already uses, with a written record so nothing depends on who was on shift.
Govern
Pricing, approvals and scope changes follow a documented workflow. Nobody quotes off the top of their head.
The people and the place behind the contract.
Work with us
Whether it is one property or a portfolio of sites, the first step is the same: an assessment and a written proposal.
